Photo 28 Apr Did this for the 25th anniversay of Street Fighter.  Not my best but I am still proud of it.  Did this on an old cracky door removed from my house when we moved in.  I want to also say how much this game effected me.  As a kid when me and my brother received Street Fighter II for the Super Nintendo on Christmas, it became the one game I could always play and never get sick of, I made sure I was constantly on top of the other iterations of SFII and any/all other sequels.  I currently play on XBOX Live under the moniker FantasmaJestera, which is also my tag name, to play Super Street Fighter 4 AE online with other players.  To this day its still just as fun.  Street Fighter has also opened me up to all other kinds of fighters, and made me get into the competitive fighting game community.  It is a great hobby that has kept me enticed for EIGHTEEN years.  I just want to say, thank you Capcom, and Street Fighter, and I had a lot of fun doing this piece.

Video 11 Feb 1 note

Here is my arcade stick modded. FINALLY. took forever to get the money for the parts and than took forever for them to ship it.  A lot of hardcore fighting gamers put artwork of their favorite SF or anime characters, and I think thats really lame and as unique, because there are so many gamers in the fighting game community who have custom sticks, someone else might have the exact same one.  This character on my stick is mine, he was created by me and that way I know mine is one of a kind.  The buttons are way more responsive, and a little more stiffer to push down, but I like that because its not all loose either. Anyway, this was a fun experience and I honestly cant wait to do it again.

Trying to pass time as the final percentages pass by of uploading my vlog from the summer to youtube (it nearly took all day)

Anyway, these are a list of movies, games, shows, comics, or anime that has changed my view or opinion or inspired me in some way.  I might forget some because I am tired so BACK OFF!

Martian Successor Nadesico - 1997

My cousin showed this to me when I was a kid, I was always astonished by his anime collection and constantly borrowed the VHS tapes from him, at times he would even give them to me because he got tired of them or got them on DVD (When DVDs were blowing up at the time)  This was one of the many that stuck with me today, and I am probably only mentioning this first because I have been watching the box set lately but whatever..

This anime is simply amazing; Robot action, romance, drama, twists, and comedy all in one, with a perfect balance and ending with true romance.  This anime shows me that there is always something worth fighting for, even if you are scared and afraid, you can never let your fear keep you from protecting the people and things you care about the most.

Neon Genesis Evangelion (The Anime and the Rebuild movies) - 1995/2010 - 2012

This anime is definitely scary, but true.  The retelling movies are just as scary and even more true. This anime is also a robot anime and centers around the end of the world, and how pain and suffering can lead you to believe there is nothing for you.  Although the ending provides the theory that just because everything is destroyed, pain and suffering show that you still feel even when there is nothing else around you.  The creator of this show was very depressed and very emotionally damaged, and artistically relayed these feelings by creating this anime, that takes balls putting out your pain for everyone to watch.  I too have depression and sometimes feel that I am alone, but I am grateful for everything around me and the fact that I can still feel even when I am alone.  After watching this my perception of life and faith have been questioned a lot as well.

Kick-Ass - 2008/2010 (film)

This has the same inspiration as Nadesico had for me as well.  There is this wonder of why no one ever wanted to be a super hero.  The system is constantly failing and there needs to be someone to bring to justice.  That’s why comic nerd Dave Lizewski decides to dawn his green scuba diving suit and become Kick-Ass.  This is amazing to me in all aspects.  Although I am afraid to become a super hero and potentially die, I am inspired to stand up more for justice and spread my advice to anyone in distress and anyone who needs my help as much as I can.

Grave of the Fireflies - 1988

Never take life for granted and live it to the fullest. Period.

Final Fantasy VI - 1994

This game is un-fucking-believable.  You journey alongside the heroes to take down the man and worse, the evil Kefka Palazzo.  More importantly, you take him down after he already destroys the world, he doesn’t just threaten to do it, he ACTUALLY does it, and than the showdown begins.  This game shows that even when the evil is way more powerful than you, the light will always prevail.

Kingdom Hearts - 2002-Present

No I am not a fanboy, because I actually care about the complexity of the compelling story that these games tell as you play them.  This just isnt a simple fantasy game, it is a journey through peoples thoughts, dreams, and emotions; when a character is hurt, you are hurt, when a character is happy, you are happy.  And the boss battles..so epic.  Each ending to each game finds a way to twist your emotions a little, happy or sad.  This game has taught me to find the good in peoples hearts and make the best out of it, and do everything in your power to protect the people who have touched your heart in some way.

And to the people who cosplay the characters, I guarantee you know nothing about the game, so I just wanna give a big “FUCK YOU” and a big middle finger on behalf of all the people who actually care about this game series, so yeah, fuck you and go suck a dick.

Superbad - 2007

Dont ever be afraid to tell someone how much you care about them, you never know if you will see them tomorrow.  If you dont get what I mean by this, you obviously didnt watch the movie, or your just retarded.  On a side note, laughing is the best medicine, and this movie will do that for you anytime of the day.

New Police Story - 2004

Before you can help others you need to work on yourself, but do not dwell on the things you cannot change.  Jackie Chan does amazing in relaying this message.  Killer ending by the way.

Summer Wars - 2009

So hypothetically someone comes up to you and says they are gonna start a rumor about you, the rumor spreads and you are being ridiculed.  So you can  A take it, or B fight back.  I choose C, getting right back up and kicking that fuckers ass, hard, and than spitting on them and saying “fuck you bro, tell everyone you lied or I will kick your ass again!”

Thats exactly what this movie is, its a lot to explain or summarize, I suggest you just watch it, although it is an anime flick, any movie lover will love this movie.

Wall-E - 2008

Pixar is just simply amazing, making audiences around the world fall in love with a toy, an ant, cars, monsters, a clown fish, a rat, a dysfunctional family with superpowers, and a robot.

But for me Wall-E takes it.  This little robot appreciates every little thing on the desecrated earth he resides on, preserving as much history as he can.  He also taught me, that true love can come from anything.

The High Cost of Living - 2010

Simple fact of life, do the right thing, make amends, and keep the promises you make to yourself.  Amazing movie with Zach Braff as the lead, check it out.

Garden State - 2004

Another Zach Braff movie, the difference is he wrote and directed this one.  The numbness of his feelings are trapped forever, until he realizes the culprit for his numbness was actually his medication.  He realizes that he can feel, and that although he is quick to fall in love, he is not losing anything by going for it, and seeing where this newborn feeling takes him.  This movie has taught me to let it out, and be emotional, there is no reason to mask your feelings, than how will anyone ever know how much you love them?

Well, my movie is done uploading, so…fuck you i guess.

som and the dark jester.
